Dear Salsa Bliss community and new visitors to this site:

I am currently on a pause from teaching group Salsa classes.  I miss you already, but it is the right time to step away, regroup, and let the next incarnation of Salsa Bliss come into being.

I love Cuban Salsa—LOVE it—but it is the people and the relationships formed in the space that has sustained my passion for teaching over the past (many…) years.  The form is beautiful and joyful and so uniquely supportive of building beloved community.  That said, it is the individuals that come into the space that animate the form with new life.  I am so very grateful to all of you who have danced in our space, especially to those of you who have been showing up every Tuesday for over a decade (thanks Frank!).

Please check back for updates.  I am certain we will reconvene at some point, in a new form, equally supportive of creating joyful community through dance.

I am happy to report that I am still actively teaching--mostly youngsters, aspiring dance artists, and our future leaders(!)--but I am always available for Salsa instruction on an individual or group level.  Reach out for more info: africubandance@gmail.com.

Take care everyone and see you soon.

Rebecca
